My skills range widely, as you come to will see. I love the look of most mediums, depending on what the art is about. I have always loved graphite and color pencil, the feel of a pencil on paper and making "lines" come to life. As I teach my students, "line" is the most important drawing fundamental, and is where most art begins, with a simple line drawing. It amazes my students, and myself I might add, on just how something so simple can say so much...
Watercolors are my next favorite medium. Difficult to use? Yes, well, it's properties are not forgiving, where as with oils or acrylics, you can over paint changes or mistakes, but water colors are transparent, so what ever is there will show through any consequent layers you apply. I enjoy the vibrance of the water color pigments, and the "life" they have of their own...
Subjects are also a wide variety, I don't like doing just "one thing" as you will see...enjoy the art, and if you are interested, some of my works are for purchase, and I am also available for commission work.
